While my dog Peanut was having surgery this week (to fix a joint problem, she’s currently recovering and doing well), I tried to distract myself from worrying about her by copying some more Piero della Francesca. (It didn’t work but at least I got some work done).
These two figures from his Baptism of Christ felt like the right thing to work on, they look united in their mutual support but also lost in their own concerns.
